The sporty power unit vivax assist, is beyond comparison with traditional electric bikes or pedelecs. It represents a completely new kind of drive. Compared with front and rear hub motors and mid-mounted motors, the vivax assist drive fits neatly inside the seat tube and adds very little extra weight. It also appeals to a new target group, which bridges the gap between the sports bicycle and the electric bike.

No other motor combines the ability to cycle for sport with the convenience of motorised support as well as the new vivax assist. Elegantly hidden in the seat tube, it produces considerable extra power to a maximum of 200 watts to the crank at the mere touch of a button. Switching “on” and “off” while riding is easy. When the motor is off, the bike works normally and without resistance. Thanks to its retrofit kit, it is almost irrelevant what brand of bike you have.
